A “jiffy” is a real unit of time used in physics, defined as 1/100th of a second. So, next time someone says, Ill be back in a jiffy, they might actually mean it scientifically!

Antarctica doesn’t have its own time zone because it’s too remote! Scientists working there follow the time zone of the country they’re from, or the time zone they find most convenient for their research. So, if you’re planning a trip, don’t expect regular hours.
