Sharks are rarely affected by cancer. Researchers are investigating their immune system to understand why. If we can figure it out, maybe we’ll be able to make “shark-like” treatments for humans!

Sharks have been swimming around for about 400 million years, while trees have only been around for 350 million years. So, sharks predate the leafy wonders we now enjoy for shade on a hot day. Next time you think about trees, remember, theyre just the new kids on the block!
